Daniel Renshaw has spent the last 20 years dedicated to the service of his country and community, starting out as a combat veteran in the U.S. Marines, where he received a Purple Heart; to his current role helping his clients grow, maintain and pass on their wealth as an independent financial advisor. Daniel also travels multiple times a year to help raise money for his favorite charity, Wounded Warrior Outdoors, who take severely wounded veterans into the outdoors to hunt and fish and reconnect with nature as a form of therapy.
Professionally, Daniel started out his advising career with Edward Jones and has over 20 years of investing experience. He loves being an independent advisor because it allows him to foster a comfortable client/advisor environment with all of the benefits of a massive firm, without having any top-down pressure to close deals or sell specific products. He can work closely with each client and discuss their circumstances, in order to produce and enact a personal financial plan tailored to each individual.
Daniel understands that finances are very personal and considers it an honor to be trusted by his clients in their handling.
He has worked with clients whose estates range from the hundreds of thousands in assets to tens of millions. He loves to teach and likes to use parables and stories to help explain complex financial concepts in hopes that a deeper understanding by the clients brings more comfort in the inevitable times of turmoil.
Personally, Daniel is a husband, and father of 3 young children who likes to fill his time with reading, writing, golfing and long walks on the beach. Daniel enlisted in the Marines at 18 where he was stationed in Hawaii and deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq before being honorably discharged. His time in the Marines as well as his Christian faith help guide him to try to be an honorable man who treats others with the respect and dignity they deserve.
He also has spent lots of time volunteering for charities such as Toys for Tots, serving on the security team at Flatirons Community Church, and coaching sports for his kids’ teams. He is very passionate about educating the next generation in financial education in order to give them the best odds of succeeding in the future.
